The Williamsport Millionaires entered their tilt with the Central Mountain Wildcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Williamsport managed a 67-63 victory over Central Mountain on Monday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Central Mountain lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hunter Hoy. Despite the final result, he scored 27 points along with seven steals. Hoy has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last four times he's played. Brady Myers was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Williamsport's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Central Mountain, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-9.
Williamsport will be playing at home against La Academia Charter at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Williamsport has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games. Central Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
