Brady Hull was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Noah Emswiler, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Christian Watkins was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Eden Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sewickley Academy struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Monessen's offense. They lost 13-0 to Frazier on Thursday.
Eden Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Monessen, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
