Edison extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 4-1. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Washington-Liberty Generals. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 1, 2025.

As for Washington-Liberty, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs.

For Washington-Liberty's part, Henry Thomson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Another player making a difference was Talon Duce, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
