The Valley Patriots will square off against the Seymour Panthers at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Valley will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 24 points or more this season. They took their game at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 62-19 victory over Tulia. With Valley ahead 38-11 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trinity Schlueter, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Schlueter is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Anna Ferrel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Seymour, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-36 loss to Valley on Saturday.
Valley's win bumped their season record to 12-2 while Tulia's defeat dropped theirs to 0-4.
Valley strolled past Seymour in their previous meeting on Saturday by a score of 53-36. Does Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seymour turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
