Meanwhile, Central put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Temple 59-33. The result was nothing new for Central, who have now won four matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.
Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chace North out in front who scored 18 points. Khaven Cochran was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine assists and six rebounds.
Villa Rica's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Central, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
