There's no place like home for the Hoover Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 61-49 win over Jackson on Tuesday. With that win, Hoover brought their scoring average up to 51.7 points per game.
Hoover's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zac Braucher, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Braucher has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Crew Cain, who scored 16 points along with six assists.
Hoover now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hoover will be home for the holidays to greet Green at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Jackson will be home for the holidays to greet Lake at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
