Meanwhile, while it was Mulberry Grove who put the first  runs on the board on Wednesday, it was Calhoun who put up more. The Aces lost  10-3 to the Warriors.
  Jenni Mezo was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Callye Earnest, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run.
 Martinsville now  has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mulberry Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both  the two teams just can't seem to miss. Martinsville has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 8.7  hits per game. However, it's not like Mulberry Grove struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  only 5.2  hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
