Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gig Harbor). They put the hurt on the Lincoln Abes with a sharp 21-8 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Tides, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Gig Harbor and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Lincoln, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Gig Harbor didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-1 win against Stadium on the 25th. As for Lincoln, they have also already played their next contest, a 23-1 loss against Timberline on the 26th.
