The Tuscarora Titans won the last time they faced the Governor Thomas Johnson Patriots, and things went their way on Monday too. Tuscarora came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 54-41. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tuscarora.
Skylar Davis had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Cahya Jefferson, who scored five points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Riley Kelly, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and three blocks. Zoe Nso was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.
Tuscarora's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Governor Thomas Johnson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Tuscarora will square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Governor Thomas Johnson's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th.
