West Morris Central has been on the road for five straight, but on Saturday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Middlesex Bluejays at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Last Thursday, West Morris Central was the victim of a rough 53-32 loss at the hands of the Falcons. While losing is never fun, West Morris Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Falcons are ranked 31st).
Middlesex was handed a 32-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against the Tigers on Thursday. Middlesex sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 41-39 victory over the Tigers. The victory was just what Middlesex needed coming off of a 69-37 loss in their prior game.
West Morris Central has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Middlesex, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-10.
