After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Jake Culver in the second quarter, the Wildcats led 7-0 at the half.
Twentynine Palms grew its lead to 14 points entering the fourth quarter. TP scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Darren Murphy.
The Wildcats entered the contest giving up 24.9 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Trojans well below their season average of 33.0 points scored per game.
With the win TP extended its winning streak to three games. The loss was the third in a row for Yucca Valley.
