This season hasn't been kind to the Somerset Sky Pointe Eagles, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They were the victim of a tough 83-61 defeat at the hands of Palo Verde on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emmitt Bell, who scored 28 points. Another player making a difference was Dylan Oblad, who scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds.
Somerset Sky Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Palo Verde, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Somerset Sky Pointe's road trip will continue as they head out to face Eldorado at 10:00 a.m. on December 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Eldorado is ranked 59th, while Somerset Sky Pointe is ranked 57th). Palo Verde won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Green Valley at 4:30 p.m. on December 2nd.
