When it comes to explaining why Greenville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Antavious Richardson. Despite the final result, he scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Quel Derring, who scored six points along with three steals.
Even though they lost, Greenville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Greenville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Chattahoochee County, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Greenville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Marion County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Chattahoochee County, they will head out on the road to square off against Taylor County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Taylor County will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
