The Samuell Spartans fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They secured a 34-28 W over Conrad on Thursday. For Samuell, this counts as revenge for the 50-12 defeat Conrad walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September.
Conrad's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Deanthony Flagge, who picked up 187 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Flagge was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 62 yards. Another player making a difference was Ladavian Frost-harris, who threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes.
Samuell's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Conrad, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Samuell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Conrad also has no future games currently scheduled.
