Edgar Salas was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Manual is 3-1 when Salas posts three or more hits, but 3-4 otherwise.
