Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Mercy Career & Technical at home against Kimberton Waldorf as the team secured a 62-17 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-7.
Ryan Heiser was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Xavier Harbin, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Delaware Valley Friends couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 47-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Community Academy of Philadelphia.
Mercy Career & Technical's victory bumped their season record to 2-0 while Kimberton Waldorf's defeat dropped theirs to 1-2.
Mercy Career & Technical and Delaware Valley Friends were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in December of 2021, but Mercy Career & Technical came up empty-handed after a 93-92 loss.
