Collinsville typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Claremore proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 9-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Zebras, who have now won 18 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Claremore pushed their record up to 27-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Collinsville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-6.

Claremore will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
