Greater Sacramento League Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Thursday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
A Season-Best Performance from Aubrey Stewart Leads Fairfield over Burbank
Aubrey Stewart produced her most outstanding game to date while leading Fairfield to the win on Thursday. Stewart rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes. The effort marked the most rushing yards she has had since back in September. She has become a key player for Fairfield: the team is undefeated when she posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise.
Burbank's probably not too fond of Stewart given she always seems to get the better of them. Stewart rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns the last time she and the Titans duked it out back in September.
