The McAdams Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Velma Jackson Falcons with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. McAdams walked away with a 60-50 victory over Velma Jackson on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as McAdams also won the last time the pair played on January 9th.
Velma Jackson's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was J'Ashton Williams, who scored 18 points along with six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Fleming, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.
McAdams is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Velma Jackson, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-13.
McAdams will take on French Camp Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. French Camp Academy has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15. As for Velma Jackson, they will head out on the road to challenge Noxapater at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
