The Trinity Episcopal Titans won the last time they faced the Woodberry Forest Tigers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Trinity Episcopal skirted past Woodberry Forest 33-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Trinity Episcopal.
Leading Trinity Episcopal to victory were Davion "fatrat" Brown and Trey Grant. Brown rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while Grant rushed for 212 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.
Savion Hiter and Dyzier Carter certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Hiter gained 153 total yards and two touchdowns, while Carter picked up 11 receiving yards and a touchdown. Hiter's longest reception was for an incredible 73 yards.
Trinity Episcopal's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Woodberry Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Trinity Episcopal will square off against Benedictine at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Benedictine will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Woodberry Forest, they will be playing at home against Fork Union Military Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Fork Union Military Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
