Falls City (Neb.) saw its 14-point lead dwindle to seven, but still managed to hang on and beat
Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, Neb.) 35-28 on Saturday.
The teams went into the locker room at halftime deadlocked at 14. The Tigers took the lead for good on a passing touchdown with 5:00 left in the third quarter.
Falls City's standout player in the win was
Codie Witt. The senior wide receiver caught one touchdown.
The loss comes after Lincoln Christian defeated Syracuse 34-22 last week. The loss snapped the Crusaders' 2-game winning streak.
