Two dominant guards in Jazzy Frierson and Hannah Riles are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Hartsville Red Foxes and the Lake City Panthers will face off at 4:30 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hartsville is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Hartsville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Manning 56-16 on the road. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Hartsville considering their two-point performance the contest before.
Meanwhile, Lake City beat Laurence Manning Academy 46-34 on Thursday.
Lake City found their leader in underclassman Riles, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayda Burgess, who scored eight points.
Hartsville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Lake City, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
