Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Resurrection made sure to put some runs up on the board against DePaul College Prep on Wednesday. The Bandits blew past the Rams 10-0. Elizabeth Dorgan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Dorgan was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Resurrection let Alaina Pilas and Sophia Spanos run wild. Pilas went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Spanos went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
