Roxbury Latin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. George's only posted an OBP of .188.
Roxbury Latin's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Buckingham Browne & Nichols, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9-1.
