At the plate, Cooper Hawkes was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Allphin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Mountain View came out on top against Weber on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run fourth inning. The Bruins walked away with an 11-7 win over the Warriors. While the Bruins didn't have the best season last year (they finished 15-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
Henry Tatton looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Mountain View's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't).
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dirk Ford, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Deacon Telford, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Timpanogos' record is now 9-1. As for Mountain View, their record now sits at 6-4.
Mountain View's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Timpanogos has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Mountain View, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 strikeouts. Will Timpanogos keep running through batters, or will the Bruins buck the trend?
Timpanogos got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Mountain View by a conclusive 15-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
