Boulder Creek kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, O'Connor beat Desert Mountain 6-1 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.
Cody Stoller tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk).
At the plate, Tommy Pascanu was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Brent Sollars was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
O'Connor pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Boulder Creek, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
Boulder Creek might still be hurting after the 13-1 defeat they got from O'Connor when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Boulder Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
