Leading IDEA Edinburg College Prep to victory were Kennedy Onwuzurike and Tracewill Ngoh. Onwuzurike dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds, while Ngoh scored 16 points along with six rebounds. It was the first time this season that Ngoh scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Sebastian Alvarez, who scored ten points.
IDEA Pharr's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-7. As for IDEA Edinburg College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
