Isabella Ziupsnys made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Walther Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Selah Argueta, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Argueta is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last five games she's played. Kariyah Perez was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Walther Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 10.4.

Everything went Walther Christian Academy's way against Holy Trinity in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Walther Christian Academy made off with a 15-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
