 Last Wednesday, Ascent Classical Academy was able to grind out a solid  victory over STEM School Highlands Ranch, taking the game  3-1.

 Meanwhile, William Smith beat Girls Athletic Leadership School - Denver 3-1  on Thursday.
 William Smith walked away with the   win (but they looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-23, 17-25,  25-13.
 William Smith  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 20  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least ten  aces in three consecutive  games.
 Ascent Classical Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record  this season. As for William Smith, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
