The Master's Academy is 8-2 against Trinity Prep since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will face off against the Saints at 7:00 p.m. The Master's Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
The Master's Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Crooms Academy on Friday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Panthers. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jack Spickard looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2025.
At the plate, The Master's Academy let Bryce Knuppel and Steven Figueroa run wild. Knuppel got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double, while Figueroa went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double marked the first that Figueroa has hit this season. Sawyer Smith was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
The Master's Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .346 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Trinity Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Bishop Moore, falling 16-4.
Trinity Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaac Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
The win got The Master's Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Trinity Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. The Master's Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .479. However, it's not like Trinity Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .464. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
The Master's Academy skirted past Trinity Prep 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
