The Ridgefield Tigers will head out on the road to  square off against  the New Canaan Rams  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Having struggled with three  defeats in a row, Ridgefield  turned things around against Darien  on Friday. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Blue Wave.
 Ridgefield was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 21-25,  25-15.
Meanwhile, New Canaan made easy work of Bridgeport Central  on Saturday and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 New Canaan walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13,  25-19.
 Ridgefield's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for New Canaan, their win bumped their record up to 15-2.
 Everything went Ridgefield's way against New Canaan in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, as Ridgefield made off with  a  3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
