The Central York Panthers will take on the Warwick Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Central York is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.
Warwick will be up against a hot Central York team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Panthers walked away with a 4-1 victory over Red Lion on Wednesday.
Elizabeth Ferrell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Kate Shaak was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.
At the plate, Warwick saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emerson Overly, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
Central York pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Warwick, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.
Both Central York and Warwick just can't seem to miss. The Panthers have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.5 hits per game. However, it's not like Warwick struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
