2A Evergreen recap November 19, 2013
Tumwater added to the longest winning streak in 2A Evergreen this week by beating Sehome, 52-22. The win marks 11th in a row for the the Thunderbirds.
Tumwater took down the Mariners 52-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Christian Cummings ran for 173 yards during the win.
Easton Trakel was the best receiver in the league this week as Sid Otton's team beat Sehome. Trakel tallied 2 receptions for 49 yards. Griffin Shea helped Tumwater's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 11 yards.
6-foot-3 quarterback Tanner Gueller of W.F. West is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,435. He has also thrown 36 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Trakel. The Tumwater star has 20 catches for 455 yards.
The Thunderbirds led the league in scoring this week by notching 52 points on Bob Norvell's team. Cummings ran for 173 yards in the win.
