Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's Tanner Huddleston recorded the longest rushing play in Western Illinois Valley - North this season in his game against Routt Catholic last week. Huddleston scampered for 65 yards on the play and finished with 89 on the day as his team topped the Rockets.
Central/Southeastern extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Illinois School for the Deaf, 59-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Central/Southeastern's dynamic duo of Seth Leezer and Douglas Weese proved tough for the Tigers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Leezer threw for 87 yards and two touchdowns and Weese had 52 yards receiving. Dalton Heubner helped Central/Southeastern's passing attack out by catching one ball for 35 yards.
Cody Curry was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 123 yards on 15 carries as Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia beat Illinois School for the Deaf.
6-foot-0 quarterback Thomas Donley of Unity/Seymour is the league leader in passing yards this season with 437. He has also thrown two touchdowns. On the ground, Central/Southeastern's Heubner has rushed for 973 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Dakota Longley. The Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia star has six catches for 141 yards.
The Panthers' Heubner is a mere 27 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
