Knox is 7-2 against LaVille since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Knox Redskins will head out on the road to face off against the LaVille Lancers. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Saturday, Knox came up short against North Judson-San Pierre and fell 54-45. Knox has struggled against North Judson-San Pierre recently, as their match on Saturday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
LaVille suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by New Prairie at home and fell 60-24. While losing is never fun, LaVille can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 300th, while New Prairie is ranked 87th).
Despite the defeat, LaVille had strong showings from Brooke Edison, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Jasmine Foster, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Edison is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Knox has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for LaVille, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
Knox came up short against LaVille when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 48-41. Can Knox avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
