After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Levelland, the Snyder Tigers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took down Big Spring 53-36. That's another feather in the cap for Snyder, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Snyder's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayci Medrano, who scored nine points along with six steals and five assists. Medrano is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Iverie Castillon, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Snyder's win bumped their record up to 14-17. As for Big Spring, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-24.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Sweetwater the next time they take the court. Snyder will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Steers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
