The Salisbury Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Glasgow Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Salisbury is looking to tack on another W to their 15-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Salisbury put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They breezed by Fayette on the road to the tune of 81-27. Salisbury pushed the score to 70-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Falcons cut but never quite recovered from.
Meanwhile, Glasgow stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 79-13 victory over Madison. Given Glasgow's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 193rd, while the Panthers are ranked 558th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Salisbury's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Glasgow, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Salisbury strolled past the Yellowjackets when the teams last played back in January by a score of 67-53. Will Salisbury repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
