The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wellington, who took down 96th ranked Clearwater, 21-19.
Collegiate's Seth Carder recorded the longest rushing play in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division IV this season in his game against Trinity Academy last week. Carder's team defeated the Knights as he sprinted for 77 yards on the play and finished with 128 in all.
Collegiate's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Landon Root threw for 118 and 4 touchdowns and Jack Copher had 73 yards receiving. On the ground Carder chipped in 128 yards. Jaques Williams helped Collegiate's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 37 yards.
He was 8-8 with 0 interceptions.
Carder provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Mike Gehrer's team topped Trinity Academy. Carder's favorite target this week was Copher, who caught 4 passes for 73 yards.
Copher was the best wideout in the league this week as the Spartans topped the Knights. Williams helped Collegiate's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 37 yards.
Collegiate's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Root has thrown for 1,465 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Bret Waddell has 34 catches for 467 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Andale beat Buhler 28-21. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Indians.
