After flying high against Charleston  on Saturday, Scott City came back down to earth. The Rams lost  3-0 to the Woodland Cardinals on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-2  back in September.
Scott City's offense was headlined by  Addisyn Hillemann and  Skylar Watson, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from  Miley Schwettman and her 17 assists.
 Woodland found their leader in sophomore  Ella Cook, who  had 18  digs.
Scott City's defeat dropped their record down to 12-21-2. As for Woodland,  the  victory  got them back to even at 13-13-2.
As of now, neither Scott City nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
