North Summit is 3-0 against Grand County since January of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The North Summit Braves just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Grand County Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as North Summit comes in on 13 and Grand County on four.

North Summit is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Rich: they outscored them in every quarter. North Summit was the clear victor by a 67-45 margin over Rich on Thursday. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grand County). They really took it to Monticello for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-31 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Red Devils had established a 24 point advantage.

Grand County's win came from a few key players North Summit will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Gemma Phillips, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Trinity Bryant, who posted 18 points and five steals.

Grand County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

North Summit pushed their record up to 18-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points per game. As for Grand County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
