That result was just more of the same for these two, as Manchester also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Among those leading the charge was Daryus Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. CJ Favors was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with nine rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Harris County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Cameron Phillips. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Phillips' seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Alexander, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Manchester's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Harris County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Manchester will head out on the road to face off against Chattahoochee County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattahoochee County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 171 points over their last three games. Harris County and Lakeview Academy will face off at 10:00 a.m. on December 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Lakeview Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harris County in Georgia (Lakeview Academy is ranked 131st, while Harris County is ranked 426th).
