Waynesburg Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Seton LaSalle Rebels, falling 41-14. The Raiders lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 55-0 score last time.
Despite the loss, Waynesburg Central still got an impressive performance from Teagen Crouse, who rushed for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 105 yards on ten of 18 attempts. Crouse really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
Waynesburg Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Seton LaSalle, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
