The Mastery Warrior's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 65-22 defeat at the hands of Solebury. Mastery has not had much luck with Solebury recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
It was another big night for Tyler Simpson, who scored 16 points for Solebury. The matchup was Simpson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joell Idrovo, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Mastery bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Solebury, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mastery will finish 2023 at home by hosting Cherry Hill East at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Solebury will be home for the holidays to greet Life Center Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Life Center Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 981 points over their last 12 games.
