The Dansville Aggies will take on the Perry Ramblers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Dansville 3.4, Perry 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Dansville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Morrice get on the board and left with a 21-0 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Maddi Carter was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bree Delano, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Lilly Quinn was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.
Dansville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Perry sidestepped Webberville for a 1-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Ramblers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.
Dansville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.9 runs over those games. As for Perry, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.
Everything went Dansville's way against Perry in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Dansville made off with an 8-2 victory. Will the Aggies repeat their success, or do the Ramblers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
