Reservoir has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The Mt. Hebron Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reservoir will be strutting in after a victory while Mt. Hebron will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Reservoir won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Long Reach 28-27.
Reservoir's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kevin Sisk led the charge by rushing for 99 yards. Jordan Tate also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Reservoir's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Long Reach's QB won't forget Moses Bailey anytime soon given Bailey sacked him five times.
Meanwhile, Mt. Hebron unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak last Thursday. They fell to Howard 18-14. Mt. Hebron had a rough season last year, but they look ready to turn that poor record around this year.
Reservoir's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Mt. Hebron, their loss dropped their record down to 7-1.
Reservoir came up short against Mt. Hebron in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 29-21. Can Reservoir avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
