The Lake Orion Dragons gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 68-23 victory over Notre Dame Prep. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lake Orion also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, Notre Dame Prep still got an impressive performance from Sydney T Burke, who scored 9 points. T Burke scored a full 39.1% of Notre Dame Prep's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Lake Orion's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Notre Dame Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Lake Orion will head out on the road to face off against Lutheran Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Notre Dame Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
