Jadon Brisendine made a difference for Vanden. The sophomore quarterback threw three touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Beachum stood out for American Canyon in the win. The junior wide receiver ran for one touchdown, caught one touchdown and kicked one extra point. He has now scored seven touchdowns on the season.
AC got revenge for last year's 38-21 loss to VHS with the victory.
The victory was a step in the right direction for American Canyon, which was coming off a 33-28 defeat at the hands of Vallejo in its previous game.
American Canyon (6-1) will play a Solano County game against Fairfield next week, while Vanden (2-5) will take on Vallejo also in a Solano County game.
