The Meadow Bridge Wildcats entered their tilt with the Sherman Tide with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Meadow Bridge came out on top against Sherman by a score of 44-31 on Monday. That's another feather in the cap for Meadow Bridge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Meadow Bridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lily Hayes, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaitlyn Cooper, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meadow Bridge's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Sherman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadow Bridge will take on Richwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Meadow Bridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Monday. As for Sherman, they will play host again and welcome Scott, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
