Warsaw has gone a perfect 5-0 against Manchester recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Squires at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, Warsaw earned a 9-6 victory over Jimtown.
Mark Haynes looked comfortable as he struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits.

At the plate, Grady Nelson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Nelson is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Rogan Bailey, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Manchester and Bluffton, and Manchester kept the tradition alive. The Squires narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tigers 6-4.
Harper Sturtsman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dallas Martin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those hits were his first of the season.
Warsaw's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Manchester, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Everything went Warsaw's way against Manchester when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Warsaw made off with a 10-4 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Squires turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
