That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.8 points per game. As for East Carteret, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.
Jones will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Northside - Pinetown at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Northside - Pinetown presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jones in North Carolina (Northside - Pinetown is ranked 175th, while Jones is ranked 500th). As for East Carteret, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pamlico County at 6:00 p.m. Pamlico County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
